- How has the United States used drones to track down and kill leaders of foreign terrorist organizations?
- What types of technology transfers are taking place between Russia and Iran?
- How have civilians used social media to raise awareness of events on the battlefield, escape conflict, or mobilize for anti-war protests?
Technology and Global Conflict explores these questions and many others. It aims to help interested parties understand how technological developments have shaped and continue to shape conflict dynamics in a multitude of ways, including digital warfare, negotiations, civil society, communication, propaganda, drone technology, artificial intelligence, and diplomacy and conflict resolution.

- Recognize the importance of new issues and technologies in information sciences.
- Incorporate these new issues and technologies into an existing information systems framework.
- Develop and implement new technology solutions, or discuss policies for addressing emerging issues.
- Predict impacts of issues and technology on information management, users, policies, and the environment.
