The Undergraduate Admissions Office hosts several visit opportunities throughout the year for you to explore campus and learn about Penn State. Schedule your visit on the Admissions website.
You can also contact us to arrange a personalized, on-campus visit. Visits are typically scheduled on Mondays and Fridays so you can attend a Penn State Admissions tour in conjunction with your visit to IST. Contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org to set up your personalized visit.

The College of IST Spring Open House will be held virtually on April 21 from 6-7 p.m.
Held each fall, Explore IST Day gives high school juniors and seniors an introduction to each of our majors. You’ll hear from current students about our unique programs and the experiential opportunities available to undergraduate students. Parents and family members can also attend an optional program to get their questions answered.
Explore IST Day is meant to help you decide if the College of IST is the best next step in your educational journey. For several days each summer—typically at the end of July—Penn State’s Undergraduate Admissions Office welcomes prospective students and their families to tour the University Park campus, explore academic programs, and connect with the campus community during Spend a Summer Day. During your visit, you can also attend a breakout presentation to learn about the exciting opportunities available at the College of Information Sciences and Technology. You've been accepted to Penn State! Congratulations! We hope you decide that Penn State and the College of IST are where you want to be. But if you haven't yet visited us or just want to take another look before making that final decision, this program is for you. Held February through April each year, you'll have the opportunity to chat with our diverse faculty, helpful staff, and engaged students to get answers to your questions. It's the perfect way to help you decide if Penn State and the College of IST are right for you.
Please note that Accepted Student Programs are not appropriate for students who have already made their decision and paid their housing deposit. Instead, plan to attend New Student Orientation.
