Check out the ways you can connect with the College of IST recruitment team and current students—including virtual appointments—to learn more about our college, majors, and community.
The visits and appointments below are limited to current high school students.
- If you are a current Penn State student at any campus who is looking to change to University Park campus, please email advising@ist.psu.edu.
- If you wish to speak to someone about transferring to Penn State from another institution, please email admissions@psu.edu.
- If you are interested in additional certifications and/or graduate degree programs, please email istgradprograms@psu.edu.
Virtual Appointments
Schedule a virtual appointment to learn about our programs, exciting out-of-the-classroom opportunities, and incredible student support. Your personalized virtual appointment is a great way to get your questions answered and screen-share important online resources.
The College of IST is available for half-hour long virtual appointments on the following days:
- Thursdays from 6-6:30 p.m. and 7-7:30 p.m.
Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate drop-in appointments and registration is required to attend. If you are an international student and the times listed on our calendar are not convenient in your time zone, please contact us at futurestudents@ist.psu.edu to make other arrangements.
Make a Virtual Appointment
On-Campus Appointments
A College of IST visit is an hour-long experience that gives you the opportunity to connect with an IST recruitment staff to learn more about the college, its majors and exciting out-of-classroom experiences like internships and student engagement. On-campus appointments are available on the following days:
- Mondays from 9-10 a.m., 10-11 a.m., 11 a.m.- noon, and 2-3 p.m.
- Fridays from 9-10 a.m., 10-11 a.m., 11 a.m.- noon, and 2-3 p.m.
Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate drop-in appointments and registration is required to attend. To provide you with the best experience possible, we encourage you to:
- Pair your IST visit with an Undergraduate Admissions information session or tour to learn more about Penn State and the admissions process.
- Schedule your IST visit at least one week in advance.
Spend a Summer Day
Held in late July/early August, this immersive campus experience allows prospective students to explore Penn State and IST student life, academic programs, and campus communities. Learn about the College of IST, connect with our students and faculty, and tour campus.
