The Office of Career Solutions and Corporate Engagement supports IST student participation in career fairs at University Park. These events allow IST students to explore internship and career opportunities with employers seeking to hire professionals with their unique skills, while also giving employers exclusive access to the college's impressive pool of talented students.

Spring Career Day 2025

The College of IST is excited to partner with Penn State Career Services to bring you Spring Career Day, which will expand the number of employers available to you! Join us at the Bryce Jordan Center for a full day of spring recruiting with leading employers across a variety of industries. (Note: IST will not be hosting a separate fair in spring 2025).

To see which employers are targeting IST talent, check out this spreadsheet, which will be updated regularly until January 28, 2025. Start by navigating to the tabs at the bottom of the spreadsheet. Each tab contains different information about the opportunities offered by the employers. The "Internship and Full-time" tabs will list available positions, while the "Visa Sponsorship" tab shows which employers offer sponsorship for international students. You can also check the "Job Categories" tab to view employers based on the types of roles they are hiring.

Update Your Headshot

Wear your professional attire and get a headshot taken for your online profiles. While you're there, practice your elevator pitch and have your resume reviewed by career coaches and student ambassadors. Pre-registration is not required.
