University Park Students
All students who are currently in other colleges at University Park and wish to change into a College of IST major must follow the following steps. Note that you cannot change your college until you achieve at least a 2.0 cumulative GPA.
- Review the Entrance to Major requirements for the major you are seeking. These can be found on each major's webpage.
- Attend a drop-in appointment and meet with an IST adviser to determine whether you are eligible to pursue your desired major.
- If eligible, request a change of major to the IST pre-major through Update Academics in LionPATH.
- Once approved, you will be assigned an adviser. You should make an appointment via Starfish to discuss the major and your plan to meet Entrance to Major (ETM) requirements.

Non-University Park Students
Students who wish to change into a College of IST major at University Park must also consider the change of campus credit window.
To be eligible for change of campus to University Park, students must be between 4th and 5th semester standing (44.1-74 total credits earned) and be enrolled in a major.
