Penn State provides you a maximum of two attempts to successfully complete a course, including late drops. With permission from the college, you may be granted one additional (third) attempt.
In coordination with your adviser, you must submit a Course Repeat Form in LionPATH. The deadline to submit this request for any given semester is the Friday prior to the regular class session begin date. The begin date is listed on the Academic Calendar.
After submitting the form, the Office of Undergraduate Academic Advising will review your request. If approved, you will be notified by email and will be able to enroll yourself in the class.
