The college’s Academic Integrity (AI) guidelines may be periodically adjusted as summarized below:

  • The chair of the college’s Academic Integrity Committee, in consultation with the members of the AI committee, recommends changes to the college’s AI guidelines to the Associate Dean for Undergraduate and Graduate Studies.
  • The Associate Dean reviews the recommended changes. If the Associate Dean is supportive, the proposed changes are shared with the college’s full-time faculty, indicating that the proposed changes will be forwarded to the Dean for implementation assuming there are no objections.

If there are no objections, the proposed changes are forwarded to the Dean for approval and implementation.

If there are objections, the Associate Dean will work with the chair of the Faculty Council to engage the faculty in a discussion regarding the proposed changes. Following the discussion, a faculty vote will determine if the proposed changes are forwarded to the Dean for approval and implementation.
