This course offers an engaging exploration of health informatics and artificial intelligence through the lens of human-centered design. Each session features concise lectures introducing key topics and domains within Health AI technologies, followed by dynamic discussions and interactive in-class activities. Students will examine emerging trends, critically analyze real-world applications, and collaboratively explore how AI solutions can be designed to prioritize human needs in healthcare settings. The course emphasizes active participation, critical thinking, and interdisciplinary perspectives to deepen understanding of the challenges and opportunities at the intersection of health, technology, and design.
