IST intern builds career skills, improves community in Lowe’s summer program

As a software engineering intern at Lowe’s this summer, College of Information Sciences and Technology student Hannah Kern has been exposed to a number of new experiences and technologies while developing code — including learning new computer programming languages. Through the internship program, she also participated in community service projects, such as creating kits for elementary school students to use in their STEAM curriculum.
