Kaitlyn Davis '21—Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst/Caterpillar
Kaitlyn graduated in 2021 with a bachelor of science degree in cybersecurity analytics and operations. As a student, she was active in IST Diplomats, Homecoming, and THON. She currently works as a cyber threat intelligence analyst at Caterpillar, where she is involved in the Women’s Initiative Network. Kaitlyn recently completed her GIAC Cyber Threat Intelligence (GCTI) certification.
Ashley Joseph '20—Tax Technology Consultant/Deloitte
Ashley graduated in 2020 with a bachelor of science degree in psychology and a minor in information sciences and technology. Her love of technology led her to the New Jersey Institute of Technology, where she earned her master of science in information systems in 2022. Ashley currently works at Deloitte as a tax technology consultant, focusing on tax software to make tax processes easier for her clients.
Alex Mellott '20—Senior Consultant, Cloud Services/Coalfire
Alex graduated in 2020 with a bachelor of science degree in security and risk analysis and a minor in digital entrepreneurship and innovation. He joined Coalfire—a cybersecurity solutions firm based in State College—shortly after graduating and currently serves as a senior consultant on the cloud services team. Alex works on the deployment, configuration, maintenance, and best practices of networking, secure remote access, and identity management components for cloud service providers.
Ryan Subers '10—Director of Cyber Risk Engineering/Axio
Ryan graduated in 2010 with a bachelor of science degree in information systems and technology. He has more than fifteen years of information technology and cybersecurity experience across a range of industries, including power and utilities, health care, manufacturing, government, and finance. He currently works as the director of cyber risk engineering at Axio, a cybersecurity firm in New York.

Damian Pfaff '22—UX Engineer/Ansys Government Initiatives
Damian graduated in 2022 with a bachelor of science degree in human-centered design and development with an application focus in business. As a student, he was a member of the IST Honors Society, Tetra (a special interest THON organization), the Human-Centered Design and Development club, and Philanthropy Fantasy Sports. Damian now works as a user experience engineer at Ansys Government Initiatives near Philadelphia. He researches and designs the user experience of Systems Tool Kit, a digital mission engineering software created to help engineers and operators accomplish complex missions, such as putting satellites into orbit.
