Spenser McLaughlin

I am a world-traveled professional dedicated to pursuing a career in cyber investigations and intelligence. Originally from Spain and now based in State College, PA, I am concurrently working towards both a bachelor's and master's degree in Cybersecurity while maintaining a security clearance as a Cybersecurity Systems Engineer.

My academic and professional focus lies in developing expertise in critical areas such as computer forensics, open-source intelligence (OSINT), and incident response/disaster recovery/business continuity (IR/DR/BC). I am committed to applying these skills to advance justice and contribute to national security efforts. In addition to my academic pursuits, I serve as the President of the Future Leaders in Communication, Treasurer of the Graduate Student Association in Information Sciences and Technology, and am an active member of the Cross Country and French Clubs. My personal interests include playing piano, fitness training, and continuous learning through audiobooks and podcasts.
