John Bagby is a professor emeritus who joined the College of Information Sciences and Technology after 18 years with Penn State's Smeal College of Business Administration, where he was a professor of business law. He was codirector of the Institute for Information Policy. Bagby’s legal practice experience involved clerkships for a multi-national oil company and with a Wall Street law firm in matters of securities regulation, regulatory and commercial law. He conducted post-graduate MBA work at New York University.
