Alpana Tyagi '17g

Alpana Tyagi is a cybersecurity leader and Director of Cybersecurity Strategy and Risk at SailPoint, where she leads the company's strategy and risk functions, building the program from the ground up as it scaled through significant growth. Her expertise spans Security Strategy, GRC, AI and emerging technology risk, with prior experience as a Senior Consultant at EY. She graduated with an M.S. in Information Sciences and Technology from Penn State in 2017 before beginning her career in cybersecurity.

Alpana joined the Penn State IST Alumni Society Board to give back to the program that shaped her career. She is driven by a commitment to bringing more people into the cybersecurity field and opening doors for students entering it.
