Parents and families are invited to join College of IST students, faculty, and staff as part of Penn State's Parents and Families Weekend. During this in-person event, we encourage students to share their IST experience with those closest to them, get answers to questions, and connect with others across the IST community.

Led by Dr. Jeffrey Bardzell, Associate Dean for Undergraduate and Graduate Studies, engage in a workshop with other IST graduate students to learn how to read academic papers quickly and effectively.

7:00 pm - 8:00 pm

From 7-7:30 p.m., IST academic advisers will provide an overview of Entrance to Major and why it matters. At 7:30 p.m., advisers will review the Entrance to Major process and offer tips to help you make the transition from pre-major status. Come to either session or stay for the full hour!

What’s the difference between the Cybersecurity Analytics and Operations major and the Security and Risk Analysis major? What job can I get with a degree in Information Sciences and Technology?
