Yuchen Bian

Yuchen Bian is a Ph.D. candidate in Information Sciences and Technology at The Pennsylvania State University. He is a research assistant in the Data Analytics Lab. His advisor is Dr. Xiang Zhang. His research interests cover data mining, graph mining, machine learning. Before joining Penn State in Aug 2016, he was a Ph.D. candidate in Computer Science at Case Western Reserve University from Aug 2014. Yuchen received his Master Degree and Bachelor Degree in School of  Electrical Engineering and Automation at  Tianjin University, China in 2013 and 2010. Now he is working on projects to design efficient algorithms to detect local communities for multiple query nodes in complex networks.
