Olivia K. Lewis has offered expertise in diversity, inclusion, and equity across multiple dimensions in higher education since 2001. In her current position as coordinator and student advocacy specialist in the Office of Inclusion and Diversity Engagement in the College of Information Sciences and Technology at The Pennsylvania State University, she advocates for students from underrepresented groups such as first-generation, low-income, racial and ethnic minorities, LGBTQ students, religious minorities, and international students among others.

Ms. Lewis holds an associate’s degree in sociology from San Diego Mesa College, a bachelor of science degree in organizational leadership with minors in labor studies and employment relations and sociology from The Pennsylvania State University, and a master of arts degree in educational administration with a focus on higher education from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.

Research Interests:

Ms. Lewis’s research interests include educational policy, access, affordability and social justice in public education.
