The Alumni-Student Mentoring Program connects IST students and alumni who share mutual professional interests. Alumni mentors offer students guidance about career options, building their networks, and professional development. Students and alumni agree to how and when to communicate and the goals each hopes to gain through participation in the program.

Program Timeline

The program runs from August to May each year, with many alumni-student pairs continuing to communicate after the formal program ends.

April

Student application is available.

June 14

Student application deadline.

June

Student-Alumni matching takes place.

Mid-July

Students and mentors are notified if they have been selected into the program.

August

Formal mentoring program begins.

May

Formal mentoring program concludes.
