Do you know IST students, faculty, and staff that have made a positive impact upon the College, Penn State, or their peers? Then nominate them for an IST Award at this year’s IST Honors Ball! The Honors Ball Committee is currently accepting nominations for six awards to be given at the Honors Ball on March 31st at the Nittany Lion Inn. There is one Student of the Year award for each year-standing as well as awards for the Professor of the Year and Staff of the Year. Faculty and staff are also encouraged to submit their nominations.

The purpose of i-World/My World Camp for Girls is to introduce middle school students to the field of information technology. The goal is to provide a no-cost, safe and stimulating environment for rising 6th, 7th, and 8th grade girls as they explore and enhance their skills without the pressure of grades and rivalry of boys. Embracing a hands-on learning approach, the girls can apply their skills and their creativity towards a specific project. And similar to actual workplaces in the field of information technology, the girls will learn to work effectively in teams. Lunch and an afternoon snack will be provided every day.
