Important message for students who plan to complete their degrees at University Park, including those who plan to apply for a change of campus to University Park:

The B.S. in Security and Risk Analysis – Entrance into the Information and Cyber Security option will be discontinued after the Spring 2019 semester at University Park.

Students who wish to declare the SRA-ICS option and complete their degree at University Park must satisfy all entrance to major requirements by the end of Spring 2019. After Spring 2019, students will no longer be able to declare the ICS option for the SRA degree at University Park. From that point forward, only the Intelligence Analysis and Modeling (SRA-IAM) option will be available at University Park. In order to continue in the ICS option, students would need to change campus location to Altoona, Berks, Harrisburg, or World Campus.

TAKE ACTION TODAY!

Considering the SRA-ICS option?
Meet with your academic adviser to review the entrance to major requirements and your semester plans. Determine if you can actually complete the requirements by the end of Spring 2019 to declare the major.

Or, why not consider the new Bachelor of Science in Cybersecurity Analytics and Operations?
Compare the entrance to major requirements and consider if you wish to pursue the Cybersecurity Analytics and Operations degree instead. If yes, meet with an academic adviser today to understand the entrance to major requirements and course roll-out. Monitor the program webpage for the latest updates.

What if you are already in the SRA-ICS major and you want to switch to the new Bachelor of Science in Cybersecurity Analytics and Operations?
If you are already in the SRA-ICS major, it is not impossible for you to make this switch. It will, however, involve additional time and effort on your part to catch up on the new requirements. Priority will be given to new and pre-major students and the tentative roll-out for the advanced courses isn’t until the Fall 2019/Spring 2020 semesters.

Take action today by making an appointment to speak with your academic adviser.
