Managing Information, Powering Intelligence
Honors students may take graduate courses by obtaining permission from course instructors. Graduate courses count toward the Scholar’s requirement for honors credit (i.e., a 3-credit graduate course counts as a 3-credit honors course for undergraduate honors students).
In addition, Scholars wishing to begin a master’s degree while completing an undergraduate B.S. or B.A. may apply for an Integrated Undergraduate Graduate (IUG) degree. The College of IST accepts IUG applications from SHC students enrolled in the College of IST. To learn more about the IUG, see the SHC Integrated Undergraduate/Graduate Programs page. To discuss this opportunity, make an appointment with Dr. Lisa Lenze, Director of Undergraduate Academic Affairs and Coordinator of Honors Programming in the College of IST.
