WHAT: A paper from the Rajtmajer Lab at Penn State was featured on the digital cover of the Harvard Kennedy School’s Misinformation Review. According to Rajtmajer, it’s about the dissonance between the content moderation policies of the major social media platforms and the algorithms which actually detect abusive content, with respect to the author’s “intent.”

Wang was first author on the paper. Other contributors included Pranav Narayanan Venkit, who earned his doctorate from IST earlier this year, and Brett Frischmann from Villanova University.
