Apply for the Bardusch Family IdeaMakers Challenge, a 1.5-month, University-wide pitch competition where teams of undergraduate students present early-stage business ideas that identify an important problem that can be solved with digital innovation.
Application Requirements
- All team members must be undergraduate students currently enrolled and in good standing at Penn State
- Teams must have a minimum of two students and no more than five students
- Students from any Penn State college or campus can participate
- Information technology must be a core component of your solution
About the Bardusch Family IdeaMakers Challenge
The IdeaMakers Challenge is a one-and-a-half-month competition where interdisciplinary teams of students receive mentoring from faculty, industry leaders and experienced entrepreneurs to develop early-stage business ideas where information technology is a core component of the business model. Teams pitch their ideas to a panel of judges during Penn State Startup Week for a chance to win prizes that advance their ideas and professional network.
Bob and Susan Bardusch established the Bardusch Family IdeaMakers Challenge Endowment in 2021 to provide funding for the event and ongoing engagement of student teams.
