Join us at the Global Careers Institute (GCI), a signature Penn State program that prepares undergraduate and graduate students for success in the global workforce. This conference is designed specifically for students interested in preparing for global careers.
The 2026 GCI will take place on February 27–28 at the Barron Innovation HUB and Hyatt Place Hotel in Downtown State College. This year’s theme highlights sport and global collaboration, inspired by the upcoming FIFA World Cup in Pennsylvania.
Inspired by the World Cup coming to Philadelphia in 2026, Penn State Alumni Trustee and two-time world-champion soccer star Ali Krieger will be delivering the keynote speech during lunch on Saturday. The conference, which is open to students from all disciplines, will incorporate themes of sport, including leadership, perseverance, teamwork, and global collaboration into its curriculum.
Additional key speakers will include Dr. Ken Graham, Strategy, Leadership, and Change Consultant with significant global leadership experience, Dr. Fotis Sotiropoulos, Penn State’s Executive Vice President and Provost, and Dr. Corey Phelps, Dean of Smeal College of Business.
Register by January 19, 2025.
