Jeff Copeland is Executive Chairman and co-founder of immixGroup Inc., a public sector focused enterprise technology distributor. The Washington Post lists immixGroup as the 18th largest private company in the Washington, D.C. area with over $920M in revenue. immixGroup has been named to Washington Business Journal’s list of the 50 fastest growing companies in the Washington, DC region and to the Inc. Magazine 500 | 5000 list of the country’s fastest growing private companies in each of the past four years.

After starting immixGroup in 1997, Mr. Copeland served for more than a decade as the company’s Chairman, CEO and President. In his current role as Executive Chairman he is focused on investment opportunities and strategic growth initiatives. An accomplished sales and business executive with more than 35 years selling information technology products and services in the public sector,  Mr. Copeland has earned a reputation for building and managing highly effective teams that set records for revenue growth and profitability. He has extensive experience working with technology manufacturers of all sizes, ranging from very large, established companies to numerous high growth and emerging technology firms.

He has a degree from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in information systems management and accounting. Prior to founding immixGroup he served in various leadership roles at Sterling Software, Texas Instruments, EDS, and Satellite Business Systems.

Jeff and his wife Jacky live in Oakton, Virginia and have two children, Lauren (VA Tech, ‘12) and Jeffery (PSU ’13).
