Course Topic: Privacy in a Digitally Saturated World
This course explores different dimensions and application areas for privacy from a social theory perspective. More specifically, it intends to help students put privacy in context, understand that privacy concerns themselves aren’t new even as new technologies pose new kinds of threats to privacy, and identify what is truly new when it comes to (contemporary) privacy concerns.
