Course Topic: AI, Archives, and Activism
In this course we will use culturally contextualized digital archives and related activism to explore human-centered AI. We will begin by developing a contextualized understanding of AI systems, and perspectives on the human. With this foundation, we'll explore human-AI systems and relations to culturally contextualized digital archives and activism. Students will come out of the course with an appreciation for the contextualized development of human-AI systems and relations to existing sociocultural processes.
