Strategic Plan Development Process

Development of the college’s strategic plan began in fall 2025 and was led by the dean, associate deans, chief of staff, and human resources (HR) strategic partner. The initial draft was reviewed by the three interim department heads, followed by additional members of the college leadership team. Department heads then gathered input from their program coordinators to further refine the plan.

In November 2025, the draft was shared with all faculty and staff, who were invited to provide feedback through a formal submission process. The dean addressed this feedback during a faculty and staff Town Hall attended by approximately 85 members of the college community. Feedback was also solicited from graduate student leaders. This additional feedback was reviewed and incorporated, as appropriate, by senior leadership. Throughout the process, the Office of Planning, Assessment, and Institutional Research (OPAIR) provided guidance that informed the plan’s development.
