Research Project Summaries
IST's Vision of Research
Our integrated vision of research and learning is illustrated through the symbol of a tree. The roots represent the three basic constructs that define our program: information, people, and technology; the trunk represents the integration among them. Branching out from the trunk are the research themes that are part of the ever-evolving field of information sciences and technology.
Please spend some time exploring the work of our faculty and see how they are expanding the research subjects illustrated here and beyond.
