Global Prescience

Global Prescience research focuses on detecting large-scale problems and challenges, which are complex and potentially ambiguous, yet have significant global impact. These problems typically involve oceans of information and data that are incomplete and often contradictory.

Prescience is also the study of how quickly change spreads and its projected consequences. On a broader scale, global prescience may be construed as trend identification via networks that point to global trends. Research topics include early trend detection, analyzing events with different spatial and temporal scales, and developing a heightened global awareness.
