Recruiting Timeline

While the College of IST advertises job and internship postings year-round, we offer several events throughout the year to allow you to meet with students face-to-face:

• Professional Expo: Held in early September, in conjunction with Penn State's Fall Career Days, this event allows you to get an early glimpse of students who are interested in summer internships and post-graduation employment.
• Future Forum: Held in February, this is the College's spring career fair. Take advantage of the opportunity to secure your summer internship and full-time placement needs.

Students can take internships for credit during the fall (August-December), spring (January-May), and summer (May-August) semesters. All undergraduate students are required to complete at least one internship in order to graduate.
