Troy Herrington has accepted an Information Systems Coordinator position in Penn State's Office of Human Resources. Troy was our pioneer member of the IST tech support team and played a key role in organizing the technology for the growth of the school.
Charles Hooks has accepted a position at Lockheed Martin in Washington, D.C. Charles has played an instrumental role as manager of IST Tech Support team, organizing the technology for the school's expansion and planning the Information Sciences and Technology Building's network environment.
Malena Moore, e-learning coordinator in the IST Solutions Institute, has accepted a new position with GlaxoSmithKline in Illinois. Malena also served as program director of the IST Faculty Academy.
Jonghun Park has stepped down from his position as assistant professor of information sciences and technology at the University Park campus and will return to Korea. While at Penn State, Jonghun also held the title of affiliate assistant professor of computer science and engineering.
Amanda Spink, one the "original five" members of the IST faculty at University Park will be leaving Penn State for a new post at the University of Pittsburgh. Amanda was an associate professor of information sciences and technology and was one of our first faculty members when the school opened its doors in 1999.
