Analyzing Intelligence

The Security and Risk Analysis (SRA) bachelor's degree program will prepare you to become part of a highly trained analytic workforce that can address the security and risk challenges that face individuals, organizations, and the nation. With an SRA degree, you will be armed with skills that could help:

Developing Your Skills

In the Security and Risk Analysis program, you’ll prepare to recognize, communicate, and address the analytic needs of a wide range of security and risk domains, including national security, emergency management, law and crime, and enterprise risk management.

Advancing Your Education

You can also pursue an Integrated Undergraduate/Graduate Degree, which allows you to earn a bachelor’s and master’s degrees in five years—a shorter period of time than if the degrees were pursued separately.

NSA/DHS Recognition

The College of IST is recognized as a National Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense by the National Security Agency and the Department of Homeland Security. SRA graduates can earn a Letter of Recognition and Certificate of Achievement from these agencies, which certify that the student graduated from an institution and program whose security-related faculty, resources, curricula, and commitment were evaluated and found to be of high quality.

Discovering Your Path

At the College of IST, every undergraduate student is required to complete at least one internship before graduating. With more than 300 organizations actively recruiting students and a dedicated Career Solutions team, you’ll have the resources and opportunities to get your career off to a strong start.
