Biography
Don Haile is Senior Vice President and Site General Manager for the
North Carolina facilities of Fidelity Investments, the largest mutual
fund company in the United States, the No.1 provider of workplace
retirement savings plans and a leading online brokerage firm. Mr. Haile
is the senior executive on site for Fidelity’s North Carolina
organization, which currently provides transactional support to Fidelity
Employer Services Company (FESCo).
Haile is also a venture
partner in Fidelity Ventures, the venture capital arm of Fidelity
Investments. Prior to assuming his current position in October 2005,
Haile was Fidelity Investments’ Chief Information Officer, responsible
for computer operations, the global communications networks, and
enterprise-wide applications support and development. In that position
he reported to Fidelity’s Chairman, Edward C. Johnson until October
2005. Haile joined Fidelity in 1998 as executive vice president of
Enterprise Solutions responsible for the worldwide development and
maintenance of infrastructure and application products that support the
processing needs of Fidelity.
Prior to joining Fidelity, Haile
spent 34 years with IBM where he held various executive positions in
hardware and software development, with responsibilities for
telecommunications, systems management, and IBM operating systems.
