The College of Information Sciences and Technology, Career Solutions is committed to maintaining good privacy practices regarding electronic personal information for all our users. All data collected for our job listing/resume database and on-campus recruiting services are stored on NACElink Network servers. NACElink has agreed to implement appropriate safeguards to protect your information. Information collected is used to provide and tailor services to our users. It is also used to generate reports that assist us in program planning and compiling statistics to help serve our students better.

The system for providing the job listing/resume database and the on-campus recruiting service uses "cookies" and may collect system information such as IP address and browser version. This system is provided by the College of Information Sciences and Technology in partnership with the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE), DirectEmployers Association, Inc (a non-profit association comprised of a cooperative of employer members dedicated to enhancing the use of the internet for recruitment) and Symplicity Corporation (a software development company) that maintains and operates NACElink. NACElink has stated that they do not review job postings. Site users are urged to validate job postings and use caution and common sense when applying. Do not disclose social security numbers, credit card information, or bank account numbers with unknown employers. The job and internship postings posted through the College of Information Sciences and Technology is validated through the IST Career Solutions staff.

Collection and access to student information is governed by campus and federal policy under the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act. All of our users' information is considered confidential.
